Squares

Squares is an incredibly easy to pick up party game for 1-16 players.

The rules are simple: each turn all players choose a color and a direction. If a player's chosen color matches the color of the square in the direction they chose, that square is eliminated. If both squares chose directions pointing at each other, then it is a tie and neither are eliminated.

This game is a party game best played with friends, where you all have some form of live communication (online or in person). Bring it out when you have a bunch of people and not much to do. Squares allows for private lobbies, so you can play with just your friends.

Windows and Linux versions are currently available for download here. macOS support soon to be added as well.

For the windows version, make sure that the executable and .pck file that come with the zip do not get separated! Also if Windows Defender throws up a warning, click "More info" and then "Run anyway". This, unfortunately, cannot be avoided without me spending $1000/yr on a certification.
